Gangarchy in the UK!
I did about two thirds of this, all edited in a mad rush before going on holiday. Consequently, Andy Swann and Nick Briggs had to step into the breach to finish it and I'm eternally grateful to them for that. Their refinements to and completion of what I did, lift the whole piece fabulously.
This is the only piece for Big Finish that I've also done some of the music on (not a lot mind). I ended up going for something that I hoped sounded like future film noir. Lots of dark deep brass and strings and clanging bells but all treated rather oddly. Mostly it's okay but I think I prefer the additional music supplied by Nick Briggs!
My one big disappointment, bar not realising I couldn't complete it in the time I had and messing up all the release schedules, was the various hover vehicles featured. I'd originally planned to treat them as a jet cars whooshing into the sky but on consultation it was decided listeners would understand what was going on with them better if they sounded more like present day land vehicles.
I am however very proud of the psychotic robot I made for the play which involved quite ridiculous abuse of bits of metal, my vocal chords and the Cylonix Vocoder.
